About Us

After working for some of the premier scaffold companies in the Northeast during the 1940's, Jack McNamara decided it was time for a business to separate itself from the pack based on a heightened level of customer service and a quality of work that can only be achieved by the most highly trained professionals.  A few years later, in 1954, Jack established Safety Scaffolds, Inc.

The company began to grow rapidly on a foundation of hard work and dedication to services, satisfying customers throughout the tri-state area. Finally, after the business was firmly developed, it became time for Jack to retire.  In 1991, Jack turned the business over to his son Michael.  Michael continued growing and shaping the company through the 90's until the present day.  And now, continuing the tradition set by Jack, Michael is now preparing his son James to become the third generation to steer the business into the future.
